This Viking 72 is a superbly engineered, top-shelf convertible with impressively grand accommodations on par with those of a large motoryacht. This Viking also features a large cockpit with an extensive array of fishing equipment for tournament-level fishing, making for a yacht that is ready to cruise or fish with a posh level of sumptuous comfort. This yacht was extensively refit on 2007, including a complete repower with new diesels and ZF transmissions with electronic controls. Her 4 inch shafts were removed, polished and couplings were lapped with new cutlass bearings installed. A new oil change pump-out system was installed, and the water heater was replaced with additional new pumps (one a spare) and additional accumulators. All head pumps and holding tank pump were replaced, and all new battery chargers and batteries installed. Her expansive interior includes a newly refreshed décor, complete with beige and black Ultra-leather, with black mesh window covers. With a roomy 4 stateroom and four head layout, her elegant salon features a galley and dinette forward, and a spiral stairway for access to the enclosed flybridge. She has a full beam master suite amidships, a large VIP stateroom, a port side guest cabin with twin lower berths, and a crew quarters with upper/lower berths that can converted to a settee for an owner’s office. All new flat-screen TV monitors were installed throughout the interior. Well suited for tropical cruising, her air conditioned bridge features a tremendous amount of seating and a wet bar for entertaining. The flybridge also has an additional aft helm for ideal close-quarter maneuvering.
