The Chris-Craft Launch 38 is a 38-foot cabin cruiser that was produced by Michigan-based yacht-building legend Chris-Craft between 2013 and 2019. A genuine blend of classic and contemporary, this watercraft harks back to the golden age of yachting but bundles together this sedate and demure style in a thoroughly modern package. Sophisticated living spaces with a walk-around lay-out combine with utter comfort, 21st century standards of convenience and a modern riding style that will eat up the waves with ease.

The Chris-Craft 38 Launch is in the same line as the bowriders, but it can no longer be called that. Launch 38 is a compact full cabin yacht, something borrowed from bowriders and quite unusual in its layout.

It is difficult to find a more practical and versatile cruiser than this boat. The bow deck of Launch 38 is somewhat “recessed” so that it is possible to be on the sun beds even when the boat is flying at high speed.

It has a galley with two fridge’s, a grill, and a sink which is hidden in the central part of the cockpit. Forward is the control post with a sofa for three. The rear of the cockpit is occupied by two corner sofas, which together with the folding table turn into a dining room.

The level below is a cozy living area with berths for five – two double beds and one single. The bathroom is also large enough for a yacht of this size.

The cockpit is equipped with two large L-shape settees aft to port and starboard sides with access to molded in swim platform on center. Forward in the cockpit is day kitchen. A canvas shade extends electronically from T-Top overhead.

The salon is equipped with one split head forward to port and starboard sides and contains a VacuFlush 12 volt toilet, vanity, sink, and shower. Forward in the console is large berth in V berth configuration. Aft below the cockpit deck are additionally berths. The salon is air conditioned by a 16,000 BTU CruisAir unit.

The foredeck is equipped with large sunpad forward with access to windlass and anchor chain forward.

The helm is equipped with three captains chairs with helm on starboard side. Forward of the helm on center is sliding door down into salon area.

The galley is located forward in the cockpit and is equipped with the following:
