Model 460

This 46 Hunter is set up for blue water travel.

The bright airy salon with African obeche paneling, solid teak trim, doors and cabinets and ivory leather cushions makes it a pleasure to lounge and entertain below deck. There are two love seats separated by a small reversible cocktail table with large settee giving room to entertain several and sleep more guest as the table drops down into a large bed. The 21 opening hatches and ports allows for excellent ventilation for  the tropics.  The portside galley is U-shaped with custom fold up additional counter space.

The three-burner stove has a removable exhaust fan using minimal power while cleanly venting. The double stainless steel sinks are deep and have a new high curving faucet to rinse off the largest of pans or plates. Also at the sink is a custom salt-water pressurized sprayer for reducing domestic water usage while cruising and a triple filtered freshwater drinking spigot. The refrigeration system was completely remodeled by using Glacier Bay’s vacuum-sealed boards and holding plates for ultimate R-factor values and to minimize run times. The freezer storage side was enlarged for long passage making and to keep the ice-cream frozen. A remote wireless thermometer near the navigation station allows monitoring of both refer and freezer box temperatures as well as cockpit temperatures at a glance. There is a fan just for the galley cook above the island that separates the galley from the salon. The galley has a good quality, modern microwave above the freezer door.
